Why we exist
A roof gets replaced once or twice in a homeowner's life. Most people face their first quote with no reference points. They do not know what an elastomeric membrane is, whether their borough requires a permit, or what a price should include.
Toiture Montréal exists to close that gap. Our guides answer the questions homeowners actually ask, and our form lets them reach us in two minutes.
What we do
- We explain. Guides on repairs, flat roofs, shingles, commercial roofing, roof replacement and snow removal, written for someone who has never read a roofing quote.
- We follow Montreal's rules. Permits, required materials and fees change from one borough to the next. We read them on the City's website and present them borough by borough.
- We handle your quote. You describe your roof, and we call you back to come and see it.
How it works
You fill out the quote form. We call you back, we come to see the roof and you receive a written quote.
The service is free for you, and the quote does not commit you to anything.
Our commitments
- Verifiable facts. The municipal rules, assistance programs and prices cited on the site come from named sources, with the date they were consulted.
- No fake reviews. You will find no invented testimonials or made-up satisfaction ratings here.
- Your safety first. None of our guides asks you to go up on your roof.
- Your information serves one purpose. We use it to call you back about your request.
What we advise you to check
Before signing, with us as with any contractor, check:
- the licence, in the public register of the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ)
- the written details of the quote: materials, area, what is removed and replaced
- your borough's rules on permits and roof coverings
Where our information comes from
Municipal rules come from the City of Montreal's pages. Rules change. Before any work, always confirm with your borough's permit counter.
Our guides are general information. They do not replace the advice of a professional who has seen your roof.
